In the grand scheme of life, we have all met that one individual who left an indelible impression, someone whose spirit was infectious and adventures were boundless. Well, Oreo Lloyd, a Cavapoo extraordinaire, also known as "Butt munch" to those who knew him best, was no exception. This quirky little furball crossed the Rainbow Bridge on July 25, 2026, leaving a trail of chewed shoes and a household in desperate need of his unique cleaning services.
Oreo was the embodiment of an adventurous spirit, a loving companion, and a funny soul. He held a particular fascination for shoe leather, and his ability to turn any pair into a chew toy was nothing short of artistry. As Mark Twain once said, "The secret of getting ahead is getting started," and Oreo took this to heart, especially when it came to his favorite hobby - 'helping' with house cleaning. His cleaning style was a sight to behold. Instead of discarding dust bunnies, he would lovingly spread them around, providing a rustic touch to the home decor.
While Oreo was the life of the party, he was also a loving and devoted friend to McKenzie and Andrew Lloyd. In his mind, the phrase "personal space" was merely a suggestion, as he loved being in the thick of things, always wanting to be involved in whatever was happening. As the playwright George Bernard Shaw said, "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing." This was Oreo's mantra, and he lived it to the fullest.
Though Oreo has shed his earthly leash, his spirit lives on in the hearts of his best friends, McKenzie and Andrew. It is said laughter is the best medicine, and Oreo's quirkiness, humor, and undeniable charm continue to bring smiles in his absence. For those who had the pleasure of knowing Oreo, please share your favorite memories and photos on his memorial page. Let's remember Oreo the way he would have wanted - with laughter, joy, and a good chewed-up shoe.
