pet to our building at 360 9th St., Ogden.

  • Do you euthanize?

No, we do not offer euthanization. However, we contract with , whom we trust Skyline Animal Hospital with our own pets.

  • What does your facility have to offer?

When we designed our facility, we kept the needs of the pet owner in mind. First and foremost, our facility is a welcoming and

friendly place where pet owners, families, and friends can feel safe to grieve their loss and create lasting memories in a

meaningful service of remembrance. Our Pet Memorial Lounge is reserved for you during your one-hour appointment to pay

tribute and say goodbye to your departed pet companion.

Our entire operation takes place under one roof, and your cherished animal friend will stay under our attentive and

compassionate care from the moment your pet arrives. The cremation takes place within our building in our top-of-the-line

crematory. We are the only pet crematory in the state to offer you the option to observe our operation through a view window

in the Pet Memorial Lounge, or, if you desire, be a part of the cremation process. (By appointment only) We also have a library

of pet loss and grief counseling books for both adults and children, which may be checked out.

We offer an extensive urn gallery with displays in a variety of materials, as well as keepsakes, jewelry, pet portrait blankets, and

    pet caskets.

Once your pet is in our care, the complete cremation is usually finished within 24-48 hours. Upon completion, your pet’s ashes

are removed from the chamber, processed, and returned to you in the personalized pet urn and/or keepsake of your choice.

  • What cremation options do you offer?

We offer two different dignified cremation options: Private and Memorial Group Cremations.

    Private Cremation:

Private cremation is our specialty. This type of cremation takes place with your pet alone in the cremation chamber. To

eliminate any doubt or uncertainty about the integrity of the cremation, we use a pet tracking disc to identify your pet

throughout the entire cremation process. Our pet tracking disc guarantees that the ashes you receive are, in fact, the cremated

    remains of your pet.

    Memorial Group Cremation:

With this type of collective cremation, several pets will be placed together in the cremation chamber. The cremated remains are

not returned to the pet owner but are scattered at a peaceful location at our beautiful Myers Evergreen Memorial Park located at 100 N Monroe Blvd, Ogden, UT 84404.

  • Can I be present for the cremation?

Yes! We are the only pet crematory in the state to offer the public the option to observe the cremation process through a

window in our Pet Memorial Lounge, by appointment. This viewing window presents the pet owner and family with the option, if

desired, to observe the beginning of the cremation. You can also place your pet in the retort yourself. For many pet owners,

seeing that it is really their pet that is placed in the cremation chamber with an identification disc brings an added peace of

mind. The cremation chamber door will close before the cremation begins and will remain closed until the process is completed. You will then come back at a later time to pick up your pet.

If you wish to be part of the cremation process, an appointment will need to be made the morning after you have brought in

your pet. Please call for availability.

  • How do I know that the ashes I receive are those of my pet?

Our policy is one of transparency and openness. We welcome the public to visit our facility and observe our operation through

a view window in our Pet Memorial Lounge. To ensure that the pet owner receives the ashes of their pet, we use a pet tracking

disc. The deceased pet is assigned an identification number engraved on a steel disc. During the cremation, the identification

disc remains with the pet in the cremation chamber. As the cremated remains are removed from the crematory, the

identification disc follows in the cooling and processing stages. The last step includes transferring the pet’s ashes and identification disc into the memorial urn of your choice. As proof of the integrity of the cremation process, you, the pet owner,

will receive a cremation certificate with the identification disc number of your pet. (Available upon request)

  • Do you offer burial services?

We can help coordinate your pet’s burial at Tiffany Mack Memorial Pet Cemetery, adjacent to Ogden City Cemetery. In our

facility, we offer pet caskets in varying sizes. We are happy to store your pet until the burial at no charge.
