Christina moved from her native homeland of Sweden in 1983 to pursue her graduate degrees at the University of Utah. Presently, she divides her time between teaching Spanish language courses at Weber State University and serving as Public Relations Director at Myers Pets at Peace.

She truly enjoys being involved and helping wherever she can in our community as well as in the world. Her volunteerism spirit is evident in her varied service as Wish Granter for Make-A-Wish Utah, member of board of directors of YCC – the Domestic Violence Shelter in Ogden, Hospitality Co-Chair of Ogden Pioneer Days Committee, executive board member of HumanityCorps, and founding president of Charities FAHUM U.S.A. (Fundación de ayuda humanitaria.)

Christina absolutely loves animals and has spent many hours with her equally pet-loving children volunteering at the Animal Shelter. She has lovingly cared for two Shih Tzus, a Brittany Spaniel, innumerable rabbits, birds, stray cats, horses and rescued mice. Christina has a special bond with her favorite trail-running partners, the family Aussies, Milo and Maya.
